Detailed Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Marrakech – Oualidia

Depart from Marrakech around 8:30 or 9:00 in the morning and head directly to Oualidia, with a short break for coffee and rest along the way. Nestled on Morocco's Atlantic coast, Oualidia is known for its beautiful lagoon, pristine beaches, fresh seafood and famous oyster farms. Upon arrival, enjoy a delicious seafood lunch at a well-known local restaurant, included in your tour.

After lunch, take a boat trip on the extraordinary Oualidia Lagoon. Surrounded by stunning coastal landscapes, this relaxing journey offers a chance to see the famous oyster farming parks and learn how oysters are cultivated. Afterwards, enjoy some free time to walk by the beach or simply relax by the ocean. Later, check in at your hotel and enjoy the spectacular sunset over the ocean.

Overnight at a boutique riad or hotel in Oualidia

Day 2

Oualidia – Safi – Essaouira

After breakfast, leave Oualidia and drive toward Safi, enjoying breathtaking ocean views, dramatic cliffs and beautiful coastal landscapes, with photo stops along the way. Safi rests between the Atlantic Ocean and rolling hills, with a kasbah standing guard over the sea. The city breathes pottery traditions, with kilns shaping the landscape and hands that have moulded clay for centuries, and its vibrant, authentic port tells the story of fishermen's lives.

After visiting the pottery market and the old medina, we have lunch there, then make a short stop at Souiria Kedima on the way. Arrive in Essaouira and enjoy a 1 to 1.5 hour quad bike excursion through the coastal landscapes. After the adventure, check in at your hotel and relax.

Day 3

Essaouira – Marrakech

The morning is free to explore Essaouira on your own. Take a stroll through the old medina, the Jewish mellah, the fishing harbour and the Skala du Port, which offers breathtaking views of the town. The medina of Essaouira is a UNESCO World Heritage site, an example of a late-18th-century fortified town.

In the afternoon you can leave Essaouira whenever you like, as the drive to Marrakech takes about 3 hours. The road passes orange groves and olive farms and goes deep into argan country. These special trees, valued for their nutritive, cosmetic and medicinal properties, are extremely well adapted to drought and grow only in this region of the world.
